A Dream Adventure -- Keita Adachi

Image
My dream adventure is the one to Amazon River basin. I would like to travel there by a boat with some guide who is very familiar with nature, especially with animals. I want to see as many animals and fish as possible. For instance, anacondas, crocodiles, jaguars, piranhas, electric eels, capybaras, otters, and so on. I feel like going on this trip for several months. I think this experience will make me interested in animals. And I'll be able to help people to be environmentally friendly by taking and posting a movie of this adventure on social media.

My Dream Adventure: Watching Formula 1 in Monaco -- Martin

Image
One of my greatest dreams is to experience the thrill of watching Formula 1 in Monaco. This iconic Grand Prix, set against the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera, represents the pinnacle of motorsport elegance and excitement. The tight, winding streets of Monaco challenge even the best drivers, creating a spectacle unlike any other.   Imagining myself amidst the glitz and glamour, watching the world's best drivers navigate the legendary hairpin turns, is exhilarating. The roar of the engines echoing through the narrow streets, the sight of the sleek, powerful cars, and the electrifying atmosphere would make for an unforgettable experience.   Being there in person, feeling the energy and passion of the crowd, and witnessing the sheer skill of the drivers would fulfill a lifelong dream. Attending the Monaco Grand Prix would not just be a trip; it would be the ultimate adventure for any Formula 1 fan.

Do you know about the Camino de Santiago? The Camino de Santiago is one of the most famous trekking routes in the world.  People started the pilgrimage after the remains of Saint James were discovered in the city of Santiago in Spain during the Middle Ages. The final destination is the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral.   If you walk from France, the path is over 800 km long, and you need to walk for more than a month, about 20 km each day. In the Middle Ages, people believed that walking this path would forgive their sins.  Walking this long path has been on my bucket list for a long time. I want to walk this path after my children become adults.  As I said in our class, I like walking. So, I want to travel by walking. Traveling by walking takes a lot of time, but maybe I will feel that time goes by quickly. The passage of time is relative, so if I focus on walking, this time will feel very short to me. The biggest reason I like walking is that when I walk, I move my body and feel ali

I would definitely like to travel around Southeast Asia countries alone in the future, especially in Thailand and Singapore. Lom, Auto, and some my friends from Thailand told me a lot about Thailand. I learned about the candle festival held in the east of Thailand, the water festival, and so on from them, and that has made me feel excited to visit Thailand. I also want to see various kinds of temples there. I think Singapore is such a fasionable place, so I want to explore Singapore in the future too. I will visit not only these two countries but also other Southeast Asia countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines as my wonderful journey. The experience will broaden my ways of thinking something because I will feel a local culture, languages, and people directly. I really want to gain more knowledge about the world by travelling.

A Dream Adventure -- Hana

I want to travel around the world by balloon. I like to look down the view from the sky so I love to go on the air craft. But I want to add originality so I'll choose balloon. I want to take photos of each country's view from the sky and have a communication with local people.  I don't want to decide how long, because if I decide it, I have to care about time. I want to travel in a freedom and I don't want to limit the time.

For me, art is an evidence of people who were living in the past.  In my opinion, there are enormous amount of arts that depicted people's daily lives in the past. Art is a still image and it does not move, but I can imagine how people spent times every day from it.  I strongly think that art represents the feature of each period. For example, a lot of features such as people's appearance or clothes are well-depicted in paintings, so I can imagine an affair or people's feelings at that time. I also think a sculpture expresses the background of each period.

There’s no a real definition for art because we can see arte in all the things that can be seen. In my opinion one way of art it’s the car tuning and one of my favorite’s artists is AKIRA NAKAI SAN, Akira Nakai is a renowned car designer and the founder of RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB), a Japanese company famous for its unique and radical modifications of Porsche cars. Nakai has earned a global reputation for his handcrafted and distinctive approach to car customization, especially the Porsche 911 models of the 930 and 964 series . Here are some pictures of his cars.

What Art Is To Me -- Keita Adachi

To be honest, I have very little knowledge about art, so I think art includes anything that is performed or made to tell something to others. Generally, art doesn't matter for me, but photographs are important for me. I like taking and looking at photos, especially the ones of landscapes, animals, flowers. They feel me relax and motivate me to take new photos.

What Art is To me -- Hana

There are so many kinds of things called ''Art'' Painting  Statue Dancing  Music  etc. Either ones are beautiful and makes people emotional. The feeling is different depends on people and which artwork did you see.  It doesn't all have to be a same feeling when we saw a same artwork.  Also, I think that all of the art works have messages. These things making ''Art'' more enjoyable.

Absense Makes The Heart Grow Fonder -- Auto

I agree with this because I have recently experienced this by myself. I used to think that I would never miss my childhood home. However, when I moved out of my old house and went to live in my new house, I missed my childhood home so much that I was crying in my bed for 2 hours.

A Proverb I Agree With - Sota

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I strongly agree with this proverb. I am studying abroad in New Zealand. I have heard that we can improve our English skills if we only study abroad in other countries. I don't think so. We cannot improve our speaking skills by only staying in these countries. We must make lots of efforts. For example, we should talk with local people actively or talk in English in daily lives.

The grass is always greener on the other side -- Keita Adachi

This proverb means  that other  people  always  seem  to be in a  better   situation  than you,  although  they may not be. I can really understand it because I see many others' lives that looks gorgeous and relaxing on social media and especially I long for others' trips.

A Proverb I Agree With - Andrew

I agree with "treat others as you wish to be treated" I am always making an effort to communicate with my kids.  My priority is their happiness. I realized that when I did not listen attentively to my kid's stories and only foccused on my own when they raised issues, they felt they were not repected. When this happened repeatedly, they stopped wanting to listen to me. To get my kid to listen to me, show interest, and follow my opinions, I learned that I need to listen to their stories frist. Through conversations with my kids, I have learned a lot

A Proverb I Agree with -- Hana

I agree with ''Actions speak louder than words''.  I saw the people who says persuasive things many times, but I hadn't seen so much that making action about the word they said. Besides, I'm not good at making action from me. I think we need to be brave and not an easy thing to achieve that. That makes the people who can make an action special and we can really believe them. I'll try to make an action from me little by little

What freedom means to me - Sota

In my opinion, freedom means that everyone can spend a ordinally lives every day such as eating nutritious foods, drinking claen water, and taking a shower. Even if all human have a house individually, that's not enough because today, lots of people around the world are suffering from lack of foods and hunger, even contaminated water. People usually spend a time with no difficulties every day, but we must not take for it granted.

What Freedom Means to Me -- Auto

For me, freedom is that you are free to think and do anything you want which aren’t harmful or disturb anyone. You are free means you don’t have to think or do something like others.

What Freedom Means to Me - Lom

Freedom means staying mentally and emotionally free even when everything around me is chaotic. It's about staying calm when life gets tough and being flexible to adapt to changes. Freedom is about being able to manage my inner self. For me, freedom is feeling truly free in my mind, heart, and spirit because I'm being true to myself.

Freedom is a highly metaphysical concept. It's something that we can't see or touch, and can only be understood through deep thinking. But, it's also a concept we can come to know through our own experiences.   I believe that freedom is the state in which I can think, speak, and act without any external constraints or coercion within socially agreement and laws.   About ten years ago, I worked in a prison as a public doctor. The prisoners received the basic necessities for human living inside, as well as appropriate medical care. From what I observed, some prisoners were living relatively peaceful lives within. However, they all had to keep to set times for waking up, sleeping, and meals, and even had to follow various rules when using the toilet. Most prisoners always wanted to get out of the prison. During my conversations, they mentioned that they couldn’t survive under the restriction of thinking, speaking, acting for themselves.   Through my experience, I

What freedom means to me -- Hana

I think freedom is that '' I can do what I want to do ''.  ・I can choose a job that I want to do  ・I can decide where I live where I want to live ・I can travel where I want to go ・I can take a break when I want to rest It's not forced something to do, It's allowed to be independent, I think that is the meaning of freedom.
