A Proverb I Agree With - Sota

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I strongly agree with this proverb.

I am studying abroad in New Zealand. I have heard that we can improve our English skills if we only study abroad in other countries.

I don't think so. We cannot improve our speaking skills by only staying in these countries. We must make lots of efforts. For example, we should talk with local people actively or talk in English in daily lives.

    I strongly agree with you. I don't think that learning English is so easy. I think making an effort is really important in everywhere.

    Auto- I strongly agree with you. As I came here first thing I was impressed with was their acsent which is very defferent from my country.

About me - Isis

     Kia ora, my name is Isis (it is pronounced 'e-zies’). I’m from a touristic coastal town in the northeast of Brazil, where people usually go on vacation during summertime. It is commonplace that people go for a stroll along the waterfront of its most popular beach, full of coconut trees and ‘tapioca’ tents.  My name is Ryuya Fujimoto. I'm 19 years old. I am from Japan. I was born in Yamagata Prefecture, north of Tokyo. Yamagata is countryside, and it is a peaceful and great place to live.
